Troubleshooting guide for GTA V Cars ADDED to SA

Hi there, you opened this because you're experiencing issues with my mod. Or you're just curious about any issues.

Well, I've been reading feedback about crashes and hopefully this should help you.

1. You need to have the following add ons installed:

* CLEO 4 (http://cleo.li/cleo4/CLEO4_setup.exe)
* ASI Loader (comes bundled with CLEO)
* GTA SA Hoodlum EXE. (No link because it technically counts as a crack find that yourself.)

Ensure you have these 2 installed before installing this mod.

There are a variety of reasons you're experiencing crashes.

1. Conflicting IDs.

Mostly common in map mods.

If you have any custom maps downloaded (Maps that add objects to the game, like ractracks) it's possible it's a conflciting ID.

GTA SA uses IDs in all it's .ide files and will crash if 2 objects have the same ID number.

If you have ANY custom map mods, get rid of them. Or, if you know how to change IDs, open the IDE and IPL and change the ID yourself.

2. Wrong version of Limit Adjuster with wrong configuration.

I'm using Fastman92's Limit Adjuster 1.8

If you use the 1.8 config with an older version of the limit adjuster, the game may crash.

Replaced both the .asi and the .ini if you already use it.

3. Conflicting Limit Adjusters

If you already use a limit adjuster, like SALA or Link/2012's Open Limit Adjuster, then it's possibel they'll conflict.

Use only Fastman92's limit adjuster with this.

4. Added cars aren't loaded.

Remember to add the cars to the gta3.img and rebuild it.

Or, if you use Modloader, drag the "Added cars" folder to the Modloader folder.

5. Conflicting CLEO scripts.

Any CLEO script that requires useage of the "3" button may conflict with this mod. Or vice-versa.

As much as I respect other people's work, avoid any CLEO mod that requires usage of the 3 button when using this mod.

5. No data files.

All the files in the data folder need to be replaced. ALL of them.

This is so gta_sa.exe knows what to load and where they'll load.

6. Incorrect adjuster configuration with other mods.

Big map mods may require the limit adjuster and may come with a pre-config like this mod does.

However, by using my mod, it could conflict with another mod and erase their config.

Uninstall any mods that come with a preinstalled Limit Adjuster config.
